What went in the woods of Hoia Forest, has hardly seen any other things his/her life, for they never made it back. Locals, yes, some people do live there, have witnessed UFOs, unexplained light and electrical phenomena, luminescent orbs hovering in the sky and other creepy uncertainties that would grab your attention for nothing, but wanting more of it. Or left you with unexplained stories to deal behind.
Some even said that it’s a portal to another world, another dimension, to connect with spirits and evil forces that may rules this place. What sprawled in 1 square mile area, has every ingredient to make it look all the more haunting, creepy and beyond any reach of explanation and imagination.

Door to Hell, Turkmenistan
A candle can lit the area for few hours, an electrical lamp till you switch it off. But Door to Hell in Turkmenistan, what once lit by the scientist in 1971, is burning since then. And no one knows when it’ll go off.
What was thought to be a substantial oil field site, the scientist made it ready for drilling to extract the available natural resource. All went in vain, when the ground beneath the drilling rigs and camp collapsed into a crater, and huge emission of methane gas pervades the surrounding.
Scientist burned the place to prevent the surroundings from the emission of poisonous gases. They thought, everything will be fair and square within few weeks, but no, nature has mysterious ways to play with us humans. And the Door To Hell is still burning. Such is the power of mother earth.
