Our world is full of inexplicable and baffling mysteries which sometimes we cannot understand. Given below are the top six unexplained mysteries of the world known to man. We would like to put across a rational explanation to unravel these mysteries.
Top Unexplained Mysteries Of The World
1) Crop Circles:
The actual crop circles were circular basic shapes of flattened out crops created under mysterious circumstances over night. Over the past 25 years, crop circles have developed into complicated geometric shapes resembling the nautilus shell or DNA’s double helix structure. Whatever has created these has rapidly advanced in creating more intricate patterns over a period of just a few years.
The very first crop circle was documented in the year 1966 when a Australian farmer claimed to have witnessed a saucer shape space ship rise up from the ground before coasting off. When he had a close look at the take off site, he said he found the vegetation woven intricately in a clock wise direction.
Through the years there have been many other eye-witness accounts of crop circles appearing in UFO or alien literature where some times the crops were flattened out or otherwise burnt. In the year 1991, 2 men from England openly admitted they were the creators of the bogus crop circles for nearly 16 years.
They had the ability to create complex patterns utilizing rope, planks, wire and hats and could make a 40 feet circle in under 12 minutes. The sole reason they openly admitted this was that one of them was spending a substantial amount of money on fuel for his car and was hard pressed to convince his spouse he was not involved in an illegal affair with another woman. They still demonstrate the art of creating spectacular crop circles till this day publicly.

2) The Pyramids of Egypt:
As far as baffling mysteries are concerned, the Giza pyramids at Egypt really stand out as some thing unique and special. We are still not aware how the ancient Egyptians constructed the largest pyramid known as the Great Pyramid at Cheops some 6000 years ago. This happened even before the discovery of a wheel.
The Great Pyramid at Cheops is the height of a 45 storied building and covers a region large enough to fit 15 football fields. Upwards of 3 million stone blocks had been utilized to create the pyramid weighing 3 to 5 tons hewn out of a lime stone quarry located on the opposite side of Nile. Experts agree it would have taken some 450,000 men some 25 years to complete construction.
Beside being an engineering feat, there are other unexplained mysteries reported at the Pyramid at Cheops. During the 1940s, a hardware dealer from France found few mummified animals at one-fourth the height of the pyramids. The uncanny thing was they displayed no signs of decay or decomposition. He suggested that the cone shape of the pyramids kept these creatures from decay.
3) Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch):
Big foot or sasquatch is notorious for spooking the most daring of hunters and hikers in North America. Scientists believe Big Foot to be the result of mis-identification, whole lot of hoaxes and folk-lore. However people believe that these humanoid looking creatures still exist around the world similar to the famed Yeti of Himalayas.
One of the most inexplicable and unexplained mysteries today, eye witnesses who have claimed to have seen Big foot describe it as an ape like creature approximately 7 to 10 foot tall, weighing in at more than 600 pounds, and completely covered from head to foot in reddish or dark brown hair.
Eye witnesses describe the appearance as a humanoid creature with a heavy brow, large eyes, and crested head much like a gorilla. Foot prints supposedly belonging to Big foot are 25 inches across.
It is also next to impossible that a pre-historic, bi-pedal, ape like humanoid can exist because the population of such a humanoid would have been large so that more sightings would have been reported. What is more with many big foots spotted around, we would have found more physical evidence, such as hair, fecal matter, foot prints, and even countless skeletons or corpses.
4) UFOs and Area 51:
The first ever reported sighting of a UFO occurred in the city of Texas in the year 1878 when a farmer reported witnessing a large, dark, circular object flying at an impressive speed. An other famous sighting occurred in UK in the year 1916 when a pilot claimed to have seen strange lights that hovered and then suddenly disappeared into the night sky.
After unidentified flying objects were made popular by science fiction in novel and movies in the 1950’s, the number of reported sightings sky rocketed close to decade before the first ever crop circle UFO sighting was documented. Most theories to explain the para-normal phenomenon ranged from extra terrestrial hypothesis or alien visitors from another planet to the inter dimensional hypothesis or aliens dropping in from a parallel galaxy.
Unidentified flying object conspiracy theories centre around the top-secret base called as Area 51 in Nevada 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Area 51 includes a huge air base that was chosen in 1950 for testing of a spy plane U2. It has since become the United States testing place for highly confidential top-secret aircraft before they are declared publicly.

5) The Mayan 2012 Prophecy:
As suggested by several modern-day believers, the Mayan prophecy of 2012 states the world will be destroyed on December 21st, 2012. In fact, this is not a novel phenomenon as land mark dates draw near apocalypse is near theories emerge out of now here and gain tremendous popularity. People are totally enthralled by the apocalypse stuff.
The theory has its base founded on the suggestion that when the Mayans of ancient times marked our position in our galaxy, they created a unique astrological calendar. During the Winter solstice in the north most hemisphere in the year 2012, earth would go in to a new astrological stage and something drastic would happen, the end of the world.
Professional Mayan scholars state that there is absolutely no evidence to prove that the Mayans made any type of dooms day prophecy and that a calendar keeps track of time and certainly does not forecast the future. The Mayan calendar just like all other calendars simply had to end some where.
Not only does it come to an end, but it starts again as the new cycle similar to our calendar ending on the 31st of December and starting again on the 1st of January.
6) Loch Ness Monster:
The Lochness monster is a pre-historic creature believed to reside in the Lochness lake in the highlands of Scotland. As far as lake monsters are concerned, Scotland is known for mythical creature tales with Nessie the Lochness monster gaining the maximum popularity of them all with anecdotal evidence as the base.
Nessie first made headlines in the year 1933 when an eye-witness account was first published. The report quoted a man from London who visited the Loch few weeks ago sighting a most extraordinary creature, resembling a dragon or some prehistoric animal.
More such sightings were reported later on and this unexplained mysterey made international headlines. The same year 1 motorcyclist claimed to have nearly collided with the Lochness monster, Nessie one night as it moved across the road and went back into the lake. Soon photographs of Nessie or the famed Lochness monster were published in newspapers.
In the year 1960 an aero nautical engineer filmed sort of a hump shaped creature crossing the Loch with powerful strokes unlike that of any other creature.
Few years later, enhancement of the footage digitally brought to light what looked like the flippers, rear body, and 2 humps of a plesiosaur like creature. The tech commented that before he had seen the film he had thought that the Lochness monster was a mythical creature, having seen the enhanced photographs, he said he is having second thought now if it is a myth or a real life monster.
