The Kovalam beach is one of the best beaches in the world which is situated 18km from Trivandrum. You can take sun bath on the sandy beach and swimming in the Arabian Sea. Apart from this you can enjoy the sports such as jet skiing, water skiing, catamaran rides and surfing.
2. Kochi:
It is the famous port city of Kerala state and is called as “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. It is famous for its beaches and the monumental heritage. One of the best place to visit in this district is St.Francis Church. It is one of the oldest churches built-in India by the Europe people.
Next to that you can go and visit the Matancherry; it is just 5 km from Kochi. Some of the tourist spots in this places are Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jew Town, Dutch Palace etc.
3. Alappuzha/Alleppey:
Alappuzha is called as the “Venice of the East”; and is well-known for its backwaters. Shree Krishna Temple is famous in this area.
