Since its inception in 1926 SRCC has been one of the top ranking colleges for higher studies in Commerce and Economics. It’s a constituent college of the University of Delhi and needless to say, is very hard to get into. Spawning over an area of 17 acres, it has got great infrastructure, with large educational and recreational areas.

LSR of the University of Delhi offers Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce and is considered one of the best colleges in Delhi. It was established in 1956 in memory of Phoolan Devi and now is guided by a Board of Governors consisting of experts from fields of industry, academics, law, journalism and the bureaucracy. LSR is known for its notable alumni which includes Aung San Suu Kyi, Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan among others. LSR has the following departments:

Loyola College is an autonomous Jesuit institution under the historic University of Madras. This is a prestigious college that offers undergraduates and post-graduates courses on commerce, natural sciences, arts and social sciences. Founded in 1925 by a French Jesuit, Rev. Fr. Francis Bertram SJ, Loyola College is the only college in India which is granted “College of Excellence” title from the UGC.
The former President of India Dr.Ramaswamy Venkataraman, was one of its long notable alumni. Loyola’s Department of Scientific and Industrial Research has been awarded the highest research honour for an Arts and Science College.
Founded in 1969, Christ University is a private deemed to be university (according to Wikipedia). This prestigious college is managed by the priests of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in Law, Management, Humanities, Business Administration, Commerce, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Christ University also offers professional courses in Business Management, Computer Application, Social Work, Engineering , Hotel Management, Mass Communication, and Tourism. The Institution entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Centre for Internet and Society, Bangalore, India (CIS) and produced the first of its kind Wikipedia video tutorials in two languages – Hindi and Kannada.
Named after Francis Xavier, the 16th-century Spanish Jesuit saint, St. Xavier’s College came into existence in 1869. Hailed as one of the most prestigious liberal arts colleges in India, its Indo-Gothic style of architecture is recognized as a heritage structure. Needless to say it has a very long list of prominent alumni.
The institute has been used as film and TV ad shoot location a number of times and also has a very interactive culture with a number of fests, clubs, magazines and publications. In 2012 Xavier’s hosted its first Science Fest – Paradigm and in 2011–12, held Zeitgeist – The Media Conference for the first time.

The Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies University was established in 1964. They offer three full-time 3 years semester programs – BBA, B.Sc. (Finance) and B.Com (Hons.).
The official website of the institute claims that ‘each program is unique. BBA gives a holistic view of various subjects and helps to develop managers at entry level.B.Com (Hons.) gives full flavors of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. B.Sc (Finance) – a new program launched by school. The program trains students in Finance domains and gives an analytical view in area of finance to create future CFOs.’
